Math leaders, school leaders and math teachers from Metro area districts and schools meet with colleagues five times annually to collaborate on a variety of math topics. Time is provided to share ideas, exchange resources, knowledge, and experiences, and support others who have similar district/school responsibilities. Meeting topics are determined by network members; updates on current math initiatives will be made available. Members may elect to request resources made available at network meetings and/or pool resources to bring staff development opportunities to districts and schools, such as an MDE assessment person or math specialist, consultant or trainer that is recommended by many. In addition, participants share information and resources as well through an electronic network maintained by the facilitator.
