Metro ECSU has partnered with Intermediate District 287, Northeast, Metro Intermediate District 916, University of Minnesota, Hamline University, Normandale Community College,  and  SciMath MN  to create the Region 11 Math and Science Teacher Center.

This teacher center currently offers top quality professional development  and resources for Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area K-12 educators in the areas of Science: Nature of Science and Engineering (grades 3-6) and Math: Algebra Connected to Number (grades 6-8) for the 2010 – 2011 school year.
